In the last weekend of October CPL Racing entered the
final round of the Jap Racer Series at the Shakespeare County Raceway
just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon.
To date their
silver race car
has run a fastest time of 11.39secs at 128mph,
so CPL were determined to better this before the end of the 2006 season.
To make the step forward a 100bhp N20 was added to their 500bhp VTEC motor.
Virtual Racer predicted that the now lighter CPL car could run as fast as 11.05secs for the ¼ mile,
at 138.3mph, with a single stage 100 bhp nitrous kit activated in 3rd gear.

Amazingly CPL broke their previous best time three times during the day to set a new European Civic record
and clinch the 2006 Jap Racer series. Their fastest time was an incredible 11.14secs at 136mph which
was almost exactly what Virtual Racer predicted could be possible!
