By applying a mathematical process to the vehicle data
provided, Virtual Racer is able to simulate performance
to a high degree of accuracy. To demonstrate just how
close Virtual Racer's results are to those that can be
expected in the real world, we compared a series of
simulations against published data.
In all, we compared
13 vehicles: 8 front wheel drive, 3 rear wheel drive and
2 all wheel drive. The following table shows the overall
accuracy for some of the key results produced by Virtual
Racer v1.1:
